Mark (Dude) Cockerill - humble songwriter

Born 1959 Winterton North Lincolnshire England

A brief history:

I began playing the guitar from the Christmas of 1973 when my parents bought me a nylon strung acoustic for crimbo. It cost £8.50p and was the cheapest guitar in the guitar shop that used to be near the Baths Hall in Scunthorpe. Within a year I bought my first electric for £42 from Rushtons (which used to be at the top of Mary Street) with my paper round money and a crap 10 watt Leo amp out of a clothing catalogue. From those very humble beginnings  I never gave up. To cut a very long story rather short, today I still have that burning desire to play and perform that I started with only now the equipment is rather better.
